Royal Caribbean is expanding its offerings at CocoCay by introducing Hideaway Beach, an exclusive area for adults. The cruise line has not yet disclosed whether access to this new area will come at an additional cost or if it will be restricted to adults only, similar to the Solarium on its ships.
CocoCay has the capacity to accommodate two Oasis-class ships, and it is expected that two ships will be docked there on most days, as the cruise company also plans to utilize the private island for select sailings of its Celebrity brand.
In addition, Royal Caribbean is constructing a destination similar to its Perfect Day concept in Nassau. Named the Royal Beach Club at Paradise Island, this experience will require an additional fee and will offer pools, restaurants, and beaches. Access to the club will be available through water taxi transportation from the Nassau port.
According to Jay Schneider, Royal Caribbean’s Chief Product Innovation Officer, the Royal Beach Club was not designed for widespread accessibility. Rather, it serves as an exclusive offering meant to entice guests to sail with the cruise line again in the future.
Overall, these expansions are part of Royal Caribbean’s strategic approach to enhance its offerings and provide unique experiences for its guests.
